Its full of hurt & sorrow. It makes you smile together, But makes he who cries a loner. Sometimes all it does is discourage you, & other times puts you on a pedestal. It crushes your heart & squeezes out the gladness, It opens up your soul & takes away the sadness. At times you hate it, At times you love it. If you have it - you don't want it, If there's little left - you crave for it. A puzzle, a riddle, a voyage, an adventure - that's Life?!?! As we grow we extend this love to our other siblings, our relatives... We grow still & form our own set of relatives we call our friends. Our love extended to our surroundings, to nature, to God. Then there is the special moment we call "falling in love". Love has always been a part of our life - but someday, somewhere we meet someone who makes us think that we have never loved or lived until we met them... We often spend our lifetime looking for love. But every coin has two sides & although the love is there, other elements, like ego, jealousy, insecurity, make us behave out of our true self, which makes us doubt if the love was ever there. The things people do for love and in the name of love is sometimes sad sometimes funny and sometimes destructive but one thing makes all agree on is " Love makes the world go round". A time of life when every individual feels misunderstood and confined to social do's and don'ts. A time when one wants to break free of all the "have-to's" in life and become a rebel. This critical time in life when the body is grown and the mind is starting to grow - to think for itself & instead of blindly following others makes its own way. It's a time when most youngsters are misunderstood. This wanting to fend and think for themselves is often seen as rebellion against good. This view is wrong because all they are doing is trying to figure out what's right and what's wrong on their own. This kind of unfair judgment of adolescents by their elders is generally what creates "The Generation Gap". Which in turn drives them further into their aloofness. What every person needs is space to grow. Unfortunately most parents don't know when to let their "children" go and let them grow instead of forever protecting them |
