Government of India Permission
Indian Nationals can take up the examinations only on receipt of written permission from the Govt. of India. Application for the requisite permission should be addressed to:

The application procedure is as follows:

  • You have to first make a list of the universities to which you want to apply, for this you may contact the consulate or go to the individual university from the list given.
  • Once you decide on the colleges you have to send them a request for application form, along with your latest academic qualifications.
  • The application form is to be filled out with exact details and sent with the required documents, which include your transcripts, financial statement etc.
  • All universities require you to write an essay/statement of purpose, which should be well written, as it is one major factor in your getting admission to the institute.
  • You have to specify whether you need financial aid or not right at the beginning.
  • Once the university selects you and sends you a confirmation it is smooth sailing as the visa authorities don't usually pose a problem where students are concerned.
