Eligibility: 12th standard or its equivalent exam from an institution in J & K State with 50% marks in aggregate of Phy, Chem, Eng and Maths in the open merit category. In the case of reserved category candidates 40% marks. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam may also apply.

Selection is made on the basis of written entrance exam conducted by Competent Authority.

Reservation of seats: 50% seats are reserved for Home State and 50% by nomination from other States through RECs. 20 seats are for foreign students. 10 additional seats for SC/ST candidates.
