The MH-CET, consists of one common question paper in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology consisting of 50 multiple Choice Questions in each subject. There is no choice among the questions. The candidate is expected to attempt all the 150 questions. Out of four squares provided for selection of answer against a question, the candidate should mark one square only. Each correct answer will be given one mark. There shall be negative marking for wrong answers. A quarter (1/4) mark shall be deducted for wrong answer and Half (1/2) mark shall be deducted for multiple answers, Scratching, overwriting, tick will be considered as multiple marking.

Duration of paper is 150 minutes. The medium for the MH-CET, 2000 was English.

On evaluation of answer sheets of the MH-CET, 2000 and after declaration of HSC, 2000 result conducted in the month of March/April, 2000, the Competent Authority will publish the result.
