The Analytical Section consists of 35 questions in 60 minutes and is designed to test your logical reasoning capabilities. There are two types of questions Analytical Reasoning and Logical Reasoning.

Analytical Reasoning questions make up about two thirds (23-24) of the questions in the Analytical Section. You will be given a situation involving a number of rules like 'John can only sit next to Mary', and 'The green car cannot be on the same team as the red car' and then you will be asked to answer between 3 and 7 questions about the outcomes of these rules in this situation.

Logical Reasoning questions make up about one third (11-12) of the questions in the Analytical Section. These questions consist of a short text which presents an argument and then you are a question about the premises, assumptions, conclusion or the form of reasoning used in the argument.
